Business Services Data Analyst Bridgeport, WV (onsite) 12+Month Contract Responsibilities: Power Apps solution development - Proven experience designing, building, enhancing, and supporting Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas apps) to support business processes, including complex forms, validation logic, userdriven workflows, integration with backend data sources, and ongoing application support Power Automate workflow automation - Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and maintain Power Automate cloud flows to automate business processes, system integrations, notifications, and data movement, including troubleshooting failures and supporting production workflows Integrated data architecture using Dataverse and dataflows - Experience integrating Power Apps and Power Automate with Dataverse tables and dataflows, including data modeling, refresh management, and ensuring reliable data movement from source systems into operational applications Data transformation and preparation - Ability to leverage dataflows (Power Querybased) to clean, transform, and standardize source data for use in Power Apps and Power Automate solutions, reducing manual processing and improving data consistency Power BI integration and report development - Integrate transformed Dataverse and SharePoint data into Power BI datasets and reports, creating operational and managementlevel dashboards that align with Power App functionality, automation outputs, and business reporting needs SharePoint integration for application data and document management - Experience integrating Power Apps and Power Automate with SharePoint lists and document libraries, including list design, permission considerations, and automated document handling Application support, troubleshooting, and maintenance - Strong problemsolving skills to diagnose and resolve issues across Power Apps, Power Automate, dataflows, Dataverse, and SharePoint in a production environment Environment and governance awareness - Familiarity with Power Platform environments, connector usage, security considerations, and governance practices appropriate for enterprise business applications Documentation and knowledge transfer - Ability to document solutions, workflows, and data integrations and effectively hand off to internal teams for longterm maintenance and support Below are the 5 must-haves that is pointed more toward Applications than BI: 1. Power Automate (cloud flows) Strong experience designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Power Automate workflows that automate business processes, manage data movement, and support production applications. 2. Power Apps (Canvas app) development Handson experience building, supporting, and enhancing production Power Apps, including complex forms, validation logic, userdriven workflows, and integration with data sources. 3. Data integration with apps and flows Experience working with SharePoint lists and Dataverse tables as part of application solutions, including basic data modeling and using these sources as the primary data layer for Power Apps and Power Automate. 4. Data preparation (Power Querybased) Ability to use Power Query to clean, transform, and standardize source data that feeds tables and Power Apps, ensuring consistent and reliable data for applications and automations. 5. Business process analysis and solution design Ability to work with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand existing processes, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency through Power Apps and Power Automate solutions, while also supporting and troubleshooting those solutions in a production environment. Candidates may not have equal depth across all areas; however, strong Power Apps and Power Automate experience is required, with data integration and data preparation skills as supporting capabilities.
