E-Central Credit Union has an immediate opening for an experienced financial services business development professional to join our team. This position reports directly to the VP of Operations. The quoted pay is base salary. In addition, we offer generous commission and an excellent employer-paid benefits package.

Position Overview and Responsibilities:

The successful candidate must have a financial services background and will be responsible for generating new business by increasing the Credit Union’s membership base of individuals, business accounts, and Select Employee Groups (SEGs).

  • Actively solicit new business (individual members, products/services, and SEGs) to grow the Credit Union.
  • Acquire new commercial accounts within our membership base, SEGs and local community.
  • Develop and nurture executive-level relationships to meet new business goals.
  • Plan, organize and coordinate all activities related to new business acquisition, including site visits, community events, research, promotion and distribution.
  • Develop and implement successful sales strategies to meet the organization’s new business goals.
  • Maintain and grow key relationships within the Credit Union’s Select Employee Groups.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of Credit Union’s products/services, rules and regulations governing deposit and lending programs.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • At least 2 years’ experience working for a bank or credit union. Business banking is a plus.
  • Associate’s degree, with Bachelor’s preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of sales or marketing experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong group presentation skills; bilingual in Spanish is a plus
  • Strong group presentation skills. .
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, eager and able to produce immediate results.
  • Daily travel required throughout the greater Los Angeles area.
