Business Relationship Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking a Business Relationship Manager (BRM) to serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT, ensuring technology initiatives align with organizational priorities and business objectives. This role combines business relationship management, light project coordination, and business analysis to support the successful delivery of technology solutions. The ideal candidate will be experienced working in Agile environments, coordinating project activities, and facilitating communication across cross-functional teams.

Job Duties

• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, fostering strong relationships and clear communication.
• Coordinate priorities across multiple business units to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Manage project deliverables, milestones, risks, issues, and ongoing governance activities.
• Track project progress and provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Facilitate communication between business partners, IT teams, and external stakeholders.
• Gather, clarify, and document business requirements to support project initiatives.
• Assist with high-level business process documentation and workflow analysis.
• Support decision-making discussions by translating business needs into actionable requirements.
• Review requirements for completeness and assist with validating solution functionality.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and confirm deliverables meet business expectations.
• Work within Agile delivery teams to support backlog refinement, user story development, and sprint coordination.
• Utilize Azure DevOps to track work items, maintain visibility into project progress, and support SDLC activities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience supporting Agile teams and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.
• 5+ years of experience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements.
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst (BA), Business Relationship Manager (BRM), Project Coordinator, or similar role.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience using Azure DevOps or similar work management tools.
• 3+ years of experience coordinating testing activities and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• 3+ years of experience managing project deliverables, milestones, risks, and issues.
• 3+ years of experience supporting backlog refinement, user story development, and sprint coordination.
