Job Title: Business Process Management Consultant
Location: Columbia, Maryland
Type: Contract to hire
Compensation: $77/hr
Contractor Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote
Responsibilities
- Understand data needs and advise the company on technological resources to optimize data access and usability
- Partner with senior team members to aggregate, analyze, and interpret various data sets to provide actionable insights
- Develop reports, dashboards, and tools to facilitate business decision-making
- Create technical solutions to enhance data access and data quality
- Develop and execute ETL processes, ensuring reliability and high data quality
- Support data transformation, manipulation, and presentation activities, including writing complex SQL stored procedures
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, BI Developers, Infrastructure Architects, and key users to review, design, and develop data models and ETL processes
- Assist the Software Engineering team with data analysis and validation
- Partner with senior team members on the design, configuration, and implementation of Data Integration Frameworks
Requirements - Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering; or an additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
- 10 years of relevant experience in business process management, consulting, or process transformation
- Previous Provider data experience working with leadership on data issues, provider data accuracy, and interactions with claims platforms
- Knowledge of Salesforce and Facets systems
- At least one programming language proficiency (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Python)
- Understanding of data exchange formats, database design, data movement concepts
- Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve various problems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
