Kearney & Company is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our team supporting one of the Federal government's largest agencies!ResponsibilitiesProviding comprehensive audit advisory services to support the Department of Navy (DON) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) modernization efforts.Partnering with DON and audit stakeholders to ensure controls achieve and sustain Federal Financial Management (FFM), financial reporting, audit, and compliance requirements within designated End‑to‑End processes.Assessing existing and emerging business process requirements to define and document key Business Process Controls (BPCs) for S/4HANA implementation that reduce SAP customization while supporting auditability.Reviewing functional requirements and leading DON End‑to‑End BPC development and maintenance of Level 3‑4 business process documentation.Managing sub‑task/project plan: prioritize activities, meet established deadlines, work closely with the client and Kearney team, seek out and provide value‑added services.Demonstrating strong customer service skills and the ability to work closely with the client and Kearney team to drive efforts to achieve engagement goals in occasional high‑pressure situations with short deadlines.Demonstrating excellent writing and communication skills to prepare and deliver high‑quality documentation, including control catalog updates, control documentation, control assessments, and project status communications.Directing and reviewing the work of Consultants and Senior Associates.Communicating status of project‑related tasks to Team Lead and client.Required QualificationsBA/BS/BBA degree from an accredited college/university.One of the following professional certifications: CPA, CISA, CIA, CGFM or CDFM.Nine (9) years of progressive, relevant experience, including six (6) years of experience leading financial management or business systems modernization/sustainment and related projects.Experience assessing, designing, and implementing internal controls within the Federal Government.Experience in DoW/DON within one or more of the following E2E areas: Procure to Pay (P2P), Plan to Report (P2R), Budget to Report (B2R), Acquire to Retire (A2R), Plan to Schedule (P2S), Hire to Retire (H2R), Order to Cash (O2C), or Request for Service (RFS).Must have an active Interim Secret Clearance (or higher, such as Secret, Top Secret or TS/SCI) to be considered for this role (requires U.S. citizenship).Preferred QualificationsExperience in Department of War (DoW) Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness/Remediation (FIAR).Experience researching and applying FASAB, OMB, and Treasury requirements including OMB Circular A-136, and/or the Treasury Financial Manual (TFM) for specific business processes.Experience with SAP ERP Central Component (ECC) design and implementation for specific business processes.OverviewExclusively focused on the Government, Kearney & Company provides financial services, including auditing, consulting, and technology services. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law.
