Business Analyst / Business Process Improvement
Location: Franklin, TN (Cool Springs)
Schedule: Hybrid (2 days/week onsite)
Duration: 3-6 Month Contract (Project-Based)
About the Opportunity
We're partnering with an established enterprise organization seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support several high-impact business process improvement initiatives. This is a project-based consulting engagement focused on documenting, analyzing, and improving operational workflows across multiple business functions.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with business leaders, facilitating meetings, mapping current-state processes, and helping organizations design more efficient future-state operations.
What You'll Do
- Support multiple concurrent business process improvement initiatives
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings across operations, finance, and executive leadership
- Gather, document, and validate business requirements
- Create current-state and future-state process documentation
- Develop workflow diagrams and process maps (Visio preferred)
- Capture meeting notes, action items, and follow-up activities
- Coordinate meetings and project communications across stakeholders
- Assist project leadership in keeping initiatives organized and moving forward
- Partner with operational leaders to identify process improvement opportunities
- Help drive business process redesign initiatives from discovery through implementation planning
What We're Looking For
- 5 years of Business Analysis, Project Coordination, Project Management, or Business Process experience
- Strong experience leading requirements gathering sessions
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills
- Experience mapping business processes and operational workflows
- Comfortable interacting with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience creating workflow diagrams using Microsoft Visio or similar tools
- Strong communication and facilitation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Self-starter who requires minimal direction
Nice to Have
- Experience with business process redesign or operational transformation
- Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement exposure
- Healthcare, financial services, or enterprise operations experience
- Experience documenting current-state vs. future-state processes
