Business Partner, Corporate Accounting Primient is a leading producer of food and industrial ingredients made from plant-based, renewable sources. This role, within the Business Performance team, focuses on enterprise-level accounting and financial control activities. The Business Partner maintains the integrity of consolidated financial reporting, oversees key general ledger areas, and supports balance sheet and cash flow forecasting.Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Analysis – prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.Technical Accounting – conduct research and support application of complex GAAP principles, explaining them to non-financial stakeholders.General Ledger & Month-End Close – own ledger activities for key areas, perform month-end, quarterly and year-end close procedures, reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies, identify root causes and propose actions.Budgeting and Forecasting – support preparation of balance sheet and cash flow budgets and forecasts.Maintain Financial Controls – implement and oversee controls to mitigate risk and ensure accuracy and compliance.Audit Support – assist with internal and external audits to ensure statements are reported correctly.Decision-Making Support – partner with senior management and cross‑functional teams to deliver support for key deliverables and business initiatives.Policy Training – deliver training and guidance on accounting policies and procedures.Ad Hoc Analysis – respond to business needs with timely and accurate reports and analysis.Required Knowledge and Experience Proven experience in financial reporting preparation (including statement of cash flows) with clear analysis and insights.Experience with consolidation processes (eliminations, functional currency, translation, revaluation).US GAAP technical accounting research and application (ASC 606, 842, 805, etc).Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience with financial reporting, technical accounting research, month-end close, consolidations and reporting; planning/forecasting preferred.Hands‑on experience with EPM software such as Workday, SAP or Adaptive.Preferred Knowledge Balance sheet and cash flow forecasting.Required Skills and Mindsets Data analytics and interpretation.Exceptional attention to detail and focus on accuracy.Analytical mindset with ability to connect dots across statements.Time management and prioritization.Independent problem solving.Risk monitoring and mitigation.Flexible, curious, business-oriented, continuous improvement, collaborative, proactive problem-solver.Education and Certification Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).CPA—preferred.Total Rewards Annual pay range: $98,400 – $123,000, bonus eligible.
