Southwest Technology Center Job Title Business Manager Location Southwest Technology Center - Altus Position Type Full-Time 12-Month Reports To Chief Finance Officer Position Summary The Business Manager is responsible for supporting the financial operations of Southwest Technology Center through payroll processing employee benefits administration personnel records management grant reimbursement processing inventory control student billing account Management financial reporting to a multitude of government agencies and treasury assistance. This position works closely with the Chief Finance Officer to ensure accurate financial operations compliance with federal and state requirements and efficient day-to-day management of finance office functions. Qualifications To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. · Minimum of three 3 years prior experience in an accounting or finance-related field required · Bachelors Degree required-preferable in Accounting and or Finance related field · Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google applications required including · Microsoft Word · Microsoft Excel · Google Sheets · Google Forms · Google Classroom · Gmail · Ability to operate a 10-key calculator by touch required · Strong organizational communication and problem-solving skills required · Ability to manage confidential information professionally and accurately · Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment · Valid Oklahoma drivers license required Preferred Knowledge & Experience · Familiarity with payroll withholding tax processes preferred · Knowledge of Uniform Grant Guidance and federal grant administration preferred · Experience with accounting systems payroll systems and financial reporting processes preferred · Experience with CTIMS or related reporting systems preferred Essential Duties and Responsibilities · Perform payroll encumbrances and process hourly employee timesheets · Reconcile monthly payroll for processing by the Chief Finance Officer · Process employee onboarding and termination procedures · Establish and maintain employee personnel records and files · Coordinate employee insurance and benefits administration · Submit payroll tax withholdings and employee benefit payments · Prepare quarterly federal state local and in-kind grant reimbursement claims · Process reimbursement claims through CTIMS and other required systems · Monitor compliance with applicable grant regulations and reporting requirements · Monitor and input employee leave records into the accounting system · Monitor and Direct all student accounting and financial aid activities · Maintain inventory records asset tracking distribution and disposal documentation · Perform Assistant Treasurer duties · Archive financial and personnel records in accordance with district procedures · Provide backup support as needed to ensure efficient operation of the School Finance Office · Assist the Chief Finance Officer with finance and treasury duties as assigned · Perform other duties as assigned by administration Skills and Attributes · Strong attention to detail and accuracy · Excellent organizational and time management skills · Strong interpersonal and communication abilities · Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism · Dependable work ethic and self-motivation · Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment · Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines · Commitment to supporting district operations and student success Salary and Benefits Salary commensurate with education and experience with annual step increases.
