Job Summary/Basic Functions
Under administrative direction of the Assistant Dean of Business Affairs in the School of Nursing, the incumbent will be responsible for assisting in the fiscal and administrative matters of the School of Nursing's Off Campus Instructional Sites. The Business Manager is responsible for assisting in the maintenance of fiscal integrity of the related departments; this includes, but is not limited to, ensuring that all expenditures are within budgets and available sources of funding; routine financial reporting, and related external reporting supporting grants, institutional projects, and affiliate activities. Incumbent will provide assistance to faculty & staff on Off Campus Instructional sites business activities and provide guidance on administrative function of business transactions, funds management, and will be responsible for implementing and adhering to all relevant rules, regulations and procedures, as they relate to the administrative and financial operation of the School of Nursing's Off Campus Instructional Sites.
Minimum Qualifications
Required Education: Bachelor''s
Required Field of Study: Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Management, Public Administration or related discipline
Number of years required to perform the job: Five (5) years
Type of experience required to perform the job: Relevant professional level experience.
Substitution: Bachelor's Degree in other area will be considered with additional three (3) years of relevant professional level experience.
Master's degree in a business oriented discipline can substitute for two (2) years experience.
