LHH is seeking seeking an experienced Business Litigation Paralegal in Jacksonville, FL to support a busy practice handling complex commercial disputes. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys on high-level litigation matters from inception through trial and resolution.
Responsibilities
Manage all phases of litigation, including pre-suit, discovery, trial preparation, and post-judgment filings
Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, subpoenas, discovery requests, and responses
Coordinate and manage e-filing in Florida state and federal courts
Organize and maintain case files, discovery materials, and litigation databases
Assist with depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation, including exhibit and trial notebook creation
Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel to support case progression
Conduct legal research and summarize records using Westlaw or LexisNexis
Track deadlines and maintain attorney calendars to ensure timely filings
Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal, ideally within business or commercial litigation
Strong knowledge of Florida court rules, procedures, and e-filing systems
Experience supporting cases from inception through trial
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal software (case management and e-discovery platforms preferred)
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Paralegal certificate or degree in Legal Studies
Experience in complex commercial, construction, or corporate litigation matters
