A premier international law firm is seeking a Business Litigation Associate Attorney to join its New York office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing businesses, financial institutions, private companies, public companies, and individuals in sophisticated commercial litigation, arbitration, and other complex dispute resolution matters.

Ideal Background

• 3–5 years of complex business litigation experience gained at a sophisticated law firm

• Experience representing public and private companies, financial institutions, investors, and individuals in high-stakes commercial disputes

• Experience handling breach of contract, business tort, fiduciary duty, partnership, shareholder, fraud, and other complex commercial litigation matters

• Experience managing all phases of litigation, including fact and expert discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, arbitration, trial preparation, and appeals

• Experience litigating in federal and state courts and participating in alternative dispute resolution proceedings

• Judicial clerkship experience is preferred

• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills

• Ability to independently manage sophisticated litigation matters while collaborating with partners and multidisciplinary client teams

• Experience managing large and complex litigation matters is preferred

• Excellent academic credentials

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

• New York bar admission required
