A leading international law firm is seeking a Business Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Minneapolis office.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing businesses, financial institutions, and other clients in sophisticated commercial disputes in state and federal courts.
• 3–6 years of business litigation, commercial litigation, or complex litigation experience
• Experience handling sophisticated business disputes, including contract disputes, shareholder disputes, business torts, and other commercial litigation matters
• Experience with all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
• Experience litigating matters in state and federal courts
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
• Ability to independently manage matters while working directly with clients
• Experience with arbitration, appellate work, and trial experience is a plus
• Excellent academic credentials
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
• Minnesota bar admission required or ability to become admitted
