The Business Intelligence Manager will manage a team of BI Analysts and lead the design and development of reporting and data analytics solutions. In this role you will work closely with IT and stakeholders across many departments to maintain, improve, and create new reporting and data analytics solutions that enable informed business decisions. This position will report to the Director of Business Intelligence.
Functions include but are not limited to the following. Must be able to move freely between tasks depending on workload, season, etc.
- Oversee BI platforms ensuring performance, security, and data integrity.
- Manage and work with a team of analysts on building and maintaining data sources and reporting solutions (Tableau/Power BI).
- Drive data governance planning and execution.
- Advance the data culture at Wonderful Orchards by developing employee data analytics skills and by investigating new tools and opportunities for automation, standardization, and modernization.
- Translate complex business requirements into technical BI solutions.
- Act as a liaison between IT and other business departments.
- Communicate findings of data analysis clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
- Write detailed logical and functional specifications for processes, data sources, and reports.
- Troubleshoot issues, perform updates, and test solutions and output in various systems.
- Prioritize deliverables and manage data projects from requirements gathering to solution delivery and review.
- Responsible for staff development, coaching, and evaluation
Pay Range: $110,000 - $130,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
- 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or data management.
- 5+ years of experience in data visualization and reporting tools like Tableau, Power BI or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in interpreting technical/complex concepts and translating them into meaningful information.
- Proficiency in SQL required. Experience with data modeling and data warehousing is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience managing projects.
- 2+ years of supervising personnel.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Suite).
