Role Description
The Business Intelligence & Analytics Lead is responsible for transforming operational, financial, workforce, and production data into actionable business insights that support strategic decision-making across Comlux America. This role serves as the organization's primary analytics leader, partnering with executive leadership and functional teams to develop reporting solutions, performance dashboards, KPI frameworks, and data-driven strategies that improve operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, profitability, and organizational performance.
The Business Intelligence & Analytics Lead will oversee the collection, integration, analysis, and visualization of data from multiple business systems while driving the development of scalable reporting processes and business intelligence capabilities. This position serves as a key business partner to Operations, Engineering, Program Management, Finance, Human Resources, Quality, Supply Chain, and Executive Leadership.
Essential Job Functions
•Develop and maintain enterprise-wide business intelligence and analytics strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
•Design, build, and manage executive dashboards, KPI scorecards, and performance reporting tools across all functional areas.
•Analyze operational, financial, workforce, production, and customer data to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and performance gaps.
•Partner with executive leadership to establish meaningful metrics that drive accountability and organizational performance.
•Lead the development and maintenance of reporting solutions utilizing Power BI, SQL, ERP systems, HRIS platforms, and other business intelligence tools.
•Collaborate with Operations leadership to analyze aircraft completion schedules, labor utilization, productivity, throughput, and delivery performance.
•Work with Program Management teams to develop project performance reporting, milestone tracking, and schedule adherence metrics.
•Develop and maintain data governance standards to ensure data integrity, consistency, accuracy, and reliability across reporting platforms.
•Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes and improve access to real-time business data.
•Create visualizations and executive presentations that effectively communicate complex data in a meaningful and actionable manner.
•Collaborate with IT and system owners to support integrations between ERP, HRIS, project management, and operational systems.
•Lead special projects and strategic analyses as requested by executive leadership.
•Train and mentor business leaders on dashboard utilization, KPI interpretation, and data-driven decision making.
•Support continuous improvement initiatives through operational analytics and performance measurement.
•Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience
•Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, Finance, Operations Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field required.
•Master's Degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, MBA, or related discipline preferred.
•Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in business intelligence, analytics, financial analysis, operations analysis, or related analytical functions.
•Experience developing executive-level dashboards, scorecards, and reporting systems.
•Demonstrated experience supporting operational and business decision-making through advanced analytics.
•Experience working within manufacturing, aerospace, aviation, MRO, engineering, or industrial environments preferred.
•Experience integrating and analyzing data from ERP, HRIS, CRM, and production management systems.
•Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Required Skills and Abilities
•Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, Power Query, and Excel.
•Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases and data warehouses.
•Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
•Ability to transform large datasets into meaningful business insights and recommendations.
•Experience developing KPI frameworks, executive scorecards, and performance measurement systems.
•Strong understanding of financial, operational, workforce, and production metrics.
•Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
•Strong data visualization, storytelling capabilities, and commitment to data accuracy.
•Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
•Ability to communicate complex analytical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
•Ability to influence decision-making through data-driven recommendations.
•Demonstrated ability to work independently while building strong cross-functional relationships.
