Business Intelligence Analyst, Operations

The Operations Insights & Performance Analyst supports operational excellence by transforming data into actionable insights that drive efficiency, safety, and performance improvements across the organization. This role is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting operational data, developing dashboards and reporting tools, and providing meaningful insights that support informed, data-driven decision-making.

Minimum Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Engineering, Business, or related field required.

• 2-5+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, or operations support.

• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Python).

• Experience working with operational or performance data preferred.

Additional knowledge and skills:

• Experience with Databricks and Power Automate preferred.
• Experience in the Aviation industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collect, validate, and integrate data from multiple operational systems to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.

• Maintain and enhance datasets, dashboards, and reporting tools used to monitor operational and business performance.

• Analyze operational performance data to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

• Develop recurring and ad hoc reporting to support day-to-day operations, strategic initiatives, and leadership decision-making.

• Support the development and ongoing maintenance of key performance indicators (KPIs), scorecards, and performance dashboards.

• Monitor performance against established targets, identify variances, and highlight areas requiring attention or improvement.

• Provide clear, actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support operational improvements and business performance.

• Partner with operational teams to understand business needs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability, and safety outcomes through analytics.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Safety, IT, and Finance to support analytics initiatives and performance reporting.

• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
