Business Integration Specialist

Location: Raleigh, NC (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 Months

Job Summary:

This strategic role focuses on leveraging HealthConnex for quality and population health. The ideal candidate will possess vision, clear communication, strong leadership, creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to cultivate relationships. This is a non-technical position that involves leading large projects, managing budgets and invoices, and understanding health information exchange.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead QPHE's project to utilize HealthConnex for quality and population health, including finalizing project design and developing future strategies.
  • Develop and implement policy and financial strategies to support providers in this initiative.
  • Build relationships with key partners such as the Health Information Exchange Authority, Medicaid experts, and vendors.
  • Gather and synthesize information from stakeholders to inform decision-making.
  • Supervise staff supporting this initiative.
  • Manage budgeting, invoicing, and contracting as needed.

Must-Have Skills and Experience:

  • Understanding of data policy, healthcare data ecosystem, health information technology, program monitoring, and/or quality measurement (3 Years)
  • Experience leading large, complex projects (3 Years)
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills (3 Years)
  • Ability to communicate complex material clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing (3 Years)
  • Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and needs of multiple stakeholders (3 Years)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Familiarity with Medicaid and healthcare regulations and standards (2 Years)
  • Experience with population health delivery models, care delivery models, care management models (2 Years)
  • Understanding of clinical workflows, medical coding, and electronic health records (2 Years)
  • Understanding of digital quality measurement (2 Years)
