Business Development Specialist

Location: Warrington, PA (Corporate Headquarters)

Position Overview
The Business Development Specialist supports the Vice President and Manager of Business Development & Marketing, playing a key role in driving client engagement, supporting proposal efforts, and expanding market presence. This role is ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills and a proactive approach to relationship building.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Vice President and Manager of Business Development in daily operations and strategic initiatives
Conduct outbound outreach, including cold calling and introductory email campaigns to prospective clients, with consistent follow-up
Coordinate, schedule, and attend meetings with prospective and existing clients
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
Assist in the preparation and submission of proposals, qualifications packages, and marketing materials
Attend networking events, industry conferences, and client functions to support business development efforts
Collaborate with internal marketing resources and consultants to execute business development initiatives and campaigns


Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields include Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations
2–5 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, or marketing
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly, take initiative, and work independently
Outgoing personality with strong relationship-building skills
Prior experience or familiarity with the Engineering or A/E/C industry is a plus
Willingness to travel within the market as needed
