Business Development Representative
Location: Near Utica & Syracuse, NY (Hybrid: in-office, remote, and field-based)
Base Salary: $40,000 – $45,000 + Commission

Our growing business technology solutions client is seeking a Business Development Representative to join its expanding team in Central New York. Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and engage new business opportunities through phone outreach, email campaigns, and networking
- Schedule and qualify meetings with prospective clients
- Collaborate with senior consultants on sales strategies and client presentations
- Learn and represent a broad portfolio of business technology solutions, including:
- IT services and software solutions
- Document management systems
- Printing and mailing equipment
- Workflow and office technology tools
- Assist in developing proposals and supporting the sales cycle from initial contact through close
- Participate in client meetings (virtual and in-person) as you grow into a consultative sales role
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal team members
- Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies

Qualifications
- Interest in sales, marketing, or business development (experience helpful but not required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Basic computer proficiency; familiarity with CRM or sales tools is a plus
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally for client meetings
