The Business Development Representative is a critical, revenue-driving position within True
North Outdoor and serves as one of the primary prospect-facing roles in the organization.
BDRs are highly skilled industry professionals who embody our values and work across both the
green and white sides of the business, including landscape maintenance, landscape construction,
and snow removal.
Our success or failure as a service business depends heavily on the BDR's ability to network,
sell, service, grow accounts, and help coordinate successful execution. This role requires the
ability to persuade customers to come onboard and stay onboard, collaborate with production
teams to execute contracts, work with estimators to secure new business, and support the
accounting team in closing out jobs sold.
The ideal BDR is a skilled communicator, knowledgeable industry professional, strong
multitasker, detail-oriented teammate, and someone who can help wrestle challenging situations
to the ground in collaboration with others.
