Business Development Representative


Compensation: First Year OTE $100,000 – $125,000 (Base: $70,000 to $85,000 + uncapped commission)

Flexible Hybrid: Glassboro, New Jersey (office is 20 mins outside Philly).

Field-Based: This is a field-heavy role requiring regional travel for local networking, contractor association events, and client face-time.

We are a tight-knit financial advisory firm based out of Glassboro, NJ, and we just launched a highly specialized exit-planning program tailored exclusively for trade and home-service contractors ($10M+ revenue) who are 1–3 years from selling their businesses.

We handle the complex financial modeling—your sole focus is bringing business in the front door.


What You’ll Do

  • 75% Hunter / 25% Inbound: Self-source your own pipeline through direct outreach, networking, and building a referral base with CPAs and attorneys.
  • Run the Discovery: Qualify prospects solo during 30-minute introductory calls to see if they fit our structured program.
  • Drive the Team Close: Stay active in the sales cycle, partner with our technical advisors to present the strategy, and secure the close.
  • CRM Discipline: Maintain flawless pipeline data and follow-through using Salesforce.


Who You Are

  • Experienced: You have 5–7 years of B2B or high-ticket sales experience.
  • Industry Savvy: You have a background selling to contractors (HVAC, roofing, plumbing) or selling professional intangible services.
  • Proven Producer: You have a track record of driving $100K–$200K+ in sales revenue at prior positions.
  • Autonomous & Loyal: You prefer milestones over micromanagement and value professional longevity (3 jobs in the last 10 years).
