FULL DESCRIPTION:This role requires more than simply introducing prospective customers. The successful candidate will actively manage customer accounts, support the sales process from initial contact through project execution, and maintain long-term customer relationships that contribute to sustainable business growth.
Preference will be given to candidates with aerospace industry experience and a strong understanding of casting and forging manufacturing processes, supply chains, and customer requirements. Existing relationships within aerospace, defense, foundries, forging operations, and precision manufacturing organizations are highly desirable.

The selected candidate will be responsible for: Â Â
Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territories.
- Prospect and develop relationships with manufacturers, aerospace companies, medical device companies, foundries, forging operations, and industrial organizations.
- Generate qualified leads and secure introductions to decision-makers.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of sales opportunities.
Account Management
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned accounts.
- Conduct regular customer meetings, sales calls, and follow-up activities.
- Support the development of quotations, proposals, and project opportunities.
- Maintain ongoing communication to ensure customer satisfaction and identify new opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal engineering and operations teams to support customer requirements.
- Escalate customer concerns, quality issues, delivery concerns, and scope changes as needed.
Sales Process Support
- Assist in opportunity development and project qualification.
- Track and document customer interactions, opportunities, and sales activities.
- Provide regular sales activity reports and account updates.
- Collaborate with management to develop growth strategies for assigned accounts and territories.
Territory Development
- Develop and execute sales plans for Southern California.
- Maintain awareness of industry trends, competitors, and market opportunities.
- Attend trade shows, networking events, and customer meetings as appropriate.
- Promote capabilities and value proposition throughout the territory.

The selected candidate will also possess: Â
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of sales, business development, account management, or technical sales experience.
- Proven ability to generate and close new business opportunities.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and sales reporting tools.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Southern California.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling engineering services, materials testing services, aerospace services, manufacturing services, or technical consulting services.
- Direct experience within the aerospace industry, including relationships with OEMs, Tier 1/Tier 2 suppliers, and aerospace manufacturing organizations.
- Knowledge of casting and forging processes, materials, supply chains, and manufacturing applications.
- Existing network within aerospace, defense, medical device, industrial manufacturing, foundry, casting, forging, or related industries.
- Understanding of engineering, testing, quality assurance, metallurgy, materials technology, or manufacturing environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, Metallurgy, Materials Science, or a related field.
