What You'll Do
As a Business Development Representative, you'll be the engine behind our growth. You'll identify new opportunities, build meaningful relationships, and deliver solutions that make a real difference for our customers. Your work will include:
Developing and executing strategic plans that drive revenue growth and elevate customer satisfaction
Building and maintaining strong, professional relationships with clients and prospects
Leveraging financial insights to strengthen sales performance
Tracking and analyzing sales activity to ensure goals are met and exceeded
Conducting industry research to uncover trends and inform sales strategies
Promoting Innovative Office Solutions' full suite of products and services
Leading conversations that uncover customer challenges and position our solutions effectively
Listening actively to understand client needs and tailor recommendations
Participating in community and philanthropic initiatives that reflect our values
Collaborating with the Sales Director to develop annual and quarterly sales strategies
Staying ahead of industry trends and partnering with category experts to deliver best‑in‑class solutions
Strengthening long‑term customer relationships through exceptional service and follow‑through
Streamlining ordering processes with internal teams
Resolving issues quickly and professionally
Maintaining high retention rates and deepening relationships with key purchasing contacts
Meeting and exceeding activity and sales goals, including:
Prospecting and account management through CRM tools
Completing dashboard activities (New Customers, Insiders, Tours, Business Reviews, Opportunities)
Using reports and tools to optimize performance and drive results
