Business Development Representative

A growing team is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Business Development Representative to develop new business partnerships and help local companies solve workforce challenges through strategic staffing solutions. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with previous sales experience who enjoy prospecting, face-to-face relationship-building, managing appointments, and growing business through consultative conversations and strong follow-through. The role combines pipeline development, business networking, client meetings, and full-cycle business development within the local market.

What the Role Involves

• Prospecting and developing new business opportunities through networking, outreach, and relationship-building
• Setting and conducting client appointments and discovery meetings
• Building and managing a healthy sales pipeline through consistent follow-up and CRM activity
• Developing relationships with business owners and decision makers while presenting strategic workforce solutions
• Handling pricing discussions, negotiations, and service agreements
• Networking within the local business community and supporting business development initiatives

Preferred Background

• Minimum of three (3) years sales, business development, or customer relationship experience preferred
• Competitive and goal-oriented mindset
• Confident prospecting, networking, and handling objections
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Organized with strong pipeline and follow-up habits
• Ability to manage conversations, appointments, and negotiations professionally

Compensation & Benefits

• Full-time position
• Competitive base salary plus commission and bonuses designed to reward growth and performance
• First-year on-target earnings (OTE): $60,000–$70,000
