Business Development Representative for Texas’ Most Award-Winning Staffing and Recruiting Firm!Location: Austin, Texas

Our recruiting firm is seeking a Business Development Representative to join our well established Austin team. This is an outside sales role focused on developing new business while expanding trusted partnerships with existing clients. You’ll represent a highly respected, woman-owned, and 100% employee-owned staffing and recruiting firm with a decades-long reputation for excellence across Texas.  This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a long-term sales career—not just close deals but create meaningful client partnerships backed by strong delivery teams.
Compensation
  • First-Year On-Target Earnings (OTE): $65,000 (Base salary plus monthly commissions; earnings grow with performance)

Primary Job Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify and develop new staffing and recruiting opportunities within our specialized recruiting divisions
  • Build consultative relationships with decision-makers and understand business challenges to deliver value-driven talent solutions
  • Expand and strengthen existing client partnerships through strategic account management
  • Maintain and manage a weekly sales pipeline aligned with company goals and performance metrics
  • Represent the firm at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
  • Collaborate closely with recruiting teams to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction

Sales Skills and Qualifications
  • 2+ years of sales experience (professional services experience preferred)
  • Confidence in initiating outbound conversations with senior-level decision makers
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills—both written and verbal
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
  • Strategic thinker with a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Proficiency with virtual platforms such as Teams and Zoom
  • Ability to work onsite in Austin and travel locally as needed
