Position Summary

The Business Development & Relocation Manager plays a key role in supporting company growth, agent engagement, relocation services, and strategic relationship development across the organization. This position focuses on generating business opportunities through relocation partnerships, online lead initiatives, sponsorships, networking opportunities, agent support programs, and community engagement efforts that strengthen company performance and visibility.

Working closely with the Director of Operations and company leadership, the Business Development & Relocation Manager serves as a connector between agents, relocation partners, referral networks, community organizations, and company initiatives. This role helps ensure a high level of service, communication, and organizational support while identifying opportunities to expand business development efforts and enhance the agent experience.

Core Responsibilities

Relocation & Referral Services

  • Serve as the primary coordinator for company relocation and referral opportunities.
  • Manage incoming relocation and referral leads, ensuring timely assignment and follow-up.
  • Maintain relationships with relocation management companies, referral partners, and industry networks.
  • Monitor relocation performance metrics, service standards, and reporting requirements.
  • Support agents participating in relocation programs by providing guidance, communication, and administrative support.
  • Ensure compliance with relocation partner requirements and service expectations.
  • Coordinate relocation-related training, best practices, and communication for agents.
  • Identify opportunities to expand relocation partnerships and referral business opportunities.
  • Promote relocation and referral programs as a value-added benefit for agent recruitment and retention.

Business Development & Growth

  • Support company growth initiatives through relationship-building, networking, and strategic engagement opportunities.
  • Assist in the management and coordination of company online lead programs and lead engagement initiatives.
  • Monitor participation and utilization of company growth tools, lead platforms, and business development programs.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen agent adoption, engagement, and participation in company initiatives.
  • Help coordinate business development opportunities that align with company goals and market presence.
  • Track key performance indicators related to lead generation, referrals, relocation, and business development activities.
  • Assist with recruitment support by communicating company value propositions and growth opportunities.

Sponsorships & Community Partnerships

  • Assist in managing sponsorship relationships, community involvement opportunities, and strategic partnerships.
  • Coordinate logistics and communication related to sponsorships, networking events, and company participation opportunities.
  • Help strengthen relationships with local businesses, vendors, employers, and community organizations.
  • Support initiatives that enhance company visibility and market presence within the communities served.
  • Represent the company at networking functions, community events, and industry gatherings when appropriate.

Agent Support & Engagement

  • Serve as a resource and support contact for agents related to company programs, relocation opportunities, initiatives, and growth resources.
  • Assist with onboarding support and ongoing engagement initiatives for agents.
  • Help coordinate workshops, networking opportunities, masterminds, and agent development activities.
  • Foster positive relationships throughout the organization by maintaining a collaborative and service-focused approach.
  • Support company culture initiatives and contribute to a connected, agent-first environment.
  • Gather agent feedback and communicate opportunities for improvement to leadership.

Operations & Organizational Support

  • Collaborate with the Director of Operations on company initiatives and operational rollouts.
  • Assist with internal communication efforts and coordination of company programs.
  • Support event logistics, meetings, and operational initiatives across office locations.
  • Help maintain consistency in company processes, communication, and overall office experience.
  • Assist with special projects and evolving business initiatives as organizational needs change.
  • Maintain accurate records, reporting, and documentation related to relocation, partnerships, and business development activities.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in business development, relocation services, real estate, operations, hospitality, customer relations, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organization, communication, and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and service-oriented environment.
  • Experience with CRM systems, lead platforms, relocation programs, event coordination, or project management tools preferred.
  • Understanding of referral networks, relocation services, and client service standards is a plus.
  • Comfortable building relationships with agents, business partners, community organizations, and corporate contacts.
