We are seeking an experienced Business Development professional with a strong background in B2B sales, IT asset disposition (ITAD), logistics, or related technology services. The ideal candidate will have experience generating new business, managing sales pipelines, and building long-term client relationships with organizations such as government agencies, hospitals, schools, and corporate accounts. This role requires knowledge of secure data destruction practices, strong communication and CRM management skills, and the ability to coordinate closely with operations to ensure smooth service delivery and client satisfaction. This is a full-time position that is on-site in Stafford, VA.
Job Summary
- Develop new B2B clients (corps, govt contractors, hospitals, schools).
- Promote secure IT asset disposition services aligned with NIST SP 800-88.
- Generate leads through calls, emails, site visits, and networking.
- Build and manage a sales pipeline using CRM tools like HubSpot or Salesforce.
- Conduct Client meetings and present company services.
- Coordinate with operations for pickups, data destruction, and reporting.
- Maintain long-term client relationships and contracts.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on B2B business development / sales experience.
- Experience sourcing, qualifying, and closing new business clients.
- Background in one of the following (IT Asset Disposition (ITAD), electronics recycling, logistics, MSP/VAR sales, IT lifecycle services).
- Working or intermediate knowledge of HubSpot or Salesforce.
