Adecco has partnered with a global manufacturing company looking to hire a Business Development Manager in the Tempe, Arizona area.Business Development ManagerSUMMARYOur client is searching for a Business Development Manager to spearhead the introduction of a new flow meter into targeted market segments. The initial targeted market segments are Biopharmaceutical and Semiconductor.Working with Sales and Engineering, the role of the Business Development Manager is toDevelop the sales channel both direct to end-users and to on-board new channel partnersChampion the product both internally and externally to the organizationDrive sales at key accountsIdentify key applications within targeted end-marketProvide hands on technical customer supportDevelop marketing collateral and drive the promotional strategyUnderstand and communicate the competitive landscapeContinue to develop the differentiation and value propositionESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assignedManage key accountsAcquire & develop new customers / key accountsDevelop and implement strategic and tactical plansIdentify and penetrate new market segments & applicationsProvide monthly sales forecastsBe accountable for delivering the agreed-upon budget/plan sales/order numberTraining presentations (internal/customer/rep)Minimum of 50% travel (domestic)QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
