The Opportunity:
This is a production-driven sales role focused on generating new business and driving growth for a high-performing agency. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for building a strong pipeline, closing new business, and helping clients protect what matters most—not just with auto and home insurance, but with life, disability, and supplemental coverage. This role is designed for individuals who are motivated by performance, income growth, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do:
Generate and close new business across auto, home, renters, and umbrella policies
Identify opportunities to offer life, disability, and supplemental coverage
Build and manage a consistent pipeline through calls, referrals, and follow-up
Cross-sell and bundle policies to create complete protection plans
Deliver a consultative, needs-based sales experience
Meet and exceed monthly production goals
Compensation & Growth
Base salary: $40,000–$45,000 (based on experience)
Uncapped, tiered commission structure
Increased earning potential tied to multi-line and life production
Additional performance-based bonuses and incentives
Top performers earn $80,000–$120,000+
What Success Looks Like:
Consistent new business production each month
Strong pipeline and follow-up discipline
Ability to confidently offer life and income protection solutions
Growth in both production and income over time
What We’re Looking For:
1–3 years of sales or customer-facing experience preferred
Licensed in Property & Casualty and Life & Health (or willing to obtain)
Comfortable working in a goal-driven, metrics-based environment
Confident communicator with strong closing ability
Competitive, self-motivated, and coachable
Comfortable with outbound activity, including calling and follow-up
