Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

Build and Develop Client Relationships

  • Identify and connect with decision-makers through phone, email, social media, virtual meetings, and in-person networking.
  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with clients and prospects.

Lead Generation & Business Development

  • Develop and execute strategic prospecting plans.
  • Generate new business opportunities through referrals, networking, LinkedIn, industry events, and targeted outreach.
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline.

Consultative Selling

  • Understand client hiring and workforce challenges.
  • Present staffing and recruiting solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Identify opportunities to expand services and increase account value.

Account Management

  • Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Partner with recruiting teams to deliver exceptional service and successful placements.

Market Leadership & Networking

  • Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and hiring demands.
  • Participate in trade associations, professional organizations, and networking events.
  • Represent JBA as a trusted staffing and workforce solutions partner.

Qualifications

Experience

  • Previous experience in sales, business development, or B2B sales.
  • Experience within Legal, Engineering, IT, Professional Services, Finance, or related industries is a plus.  

Sales Excellence

  • Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong prospecting and lead-generation skills using tools such as LinkedIn, Zoom, email campaigns, and networking.

Communication & Relationship Building

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to engage executives, hiring managers, and key stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Technology Skills

  • Proficient with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, LinkedIn, and virtual meeting platforms.

Personal Attributes

  • Self-motivated, energetic, and results-oriented.
