Position Overview

The Business Development Manager plays a vital role in strengthening zTrip’s market presence by generating new business, cultivating strategic partnerships, and increasing brand awareness throughout the community. Working closely with local leadership, you will develop outreach initiatives, establish meaningful community connections, and execute strategies that support market expansion and business success.

Key Responsibilities of a Business Development Manager:

Business Development & Strategic Growth

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities to increase ridership and revenue
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community leaders
  • Manage prospects and opportunities through CRM systems
  • Schedule and conduct presentations, meetings, and client consultations
  • Consistently follow up on leads to develop long-term business partnerships

Community Relations & Brand Representation

  • Increase brand visibility through active engagement and outreach efforts

Marketing & Promotional Support

  • Assist with local marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives
  • Support social media engagement and community-focused content efforts
  • Help coordinate grassroots marketing activities to increase awareness and customer engagement
  • Contribute ideas and strategies that strengthen brand presence within the market
  • Support customer communications and promotional outreach efforts

Operational & Team Support

  • Participate in recruiting events and driver engagement activities
  • Support customer relationship initiatives and service excellence efforts
  • Assist leadership with special projects and growth-focused initiatives
  • Foster effective communication between community partners and internal teams

Qualifications of a Business Development Manager:

  • Strong sales, business development, networking, and relationship-building skills
