Business Development Manager – Design, Kitchen & Bath Surfaces

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000 - $80,000 base salary per year (flexible/based on experience), PLUS commission and benefits
 

About the Role

Our client, a leading global brand in surface materials, is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth within the design, kitchen & bath, and fabrication communities. In this role, you’ll build relationships, promote premium products, and deliver exceptional sales support to dealers, remodelers, and fabricators across your assigned region.


What You’ll Do

  • Develop and grow sales within your assigned territory.

  • Present and sell solid surface and quartz products to kitchen & bath studios, remodelers, builders, and fabricators.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, trade shows, and field outreach.

  • Manage existing accounts to ensure high levels of satisfaction and engagement.

  • Conduct training sessions and product demos for design and fabrication partners.

  • Deliver marketing materials, displays, and samples to support retail and showroom visibility.

  • Maintain accurate records, activity reports, and client interactions using CRM tools.

  • Provide timely quotes, proposals, and customer support.

  • Gather and share market insights with the Marketing team to strengthen promotions and sales initiatives.

  • Represent our client at trade shows, industry events (NKBA, ASID, AIA, NARI), and community functions.

  • Expand market share by increasing displays and point-of-purchase placements.

  • Support promotional activities, showroom set-ups, and weekend events as needed.


What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).

  • 3+ years of sales experience in solid surface, quartz, or related building materials.

  • Experience working with fabricators, installers, and kitchen & bath dealers.

  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals.

  • Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

  • Highly self-motivated and able to work independently in the field.


Physical & Travel Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and safely operate a vehicle.

  • Approximately 80% travel within the assigned territory (local).

  • Occasional overnight travel for trade shows or client events.
