We are seeking a Business Development Manager – High-Tech to drive account growth and revenue expansion within existing clients across the networking and semiconductor sectors.
This is a “farmer” role focused on deepening relationships, expanding wallet share, and uncovering new opportunities within strategic accounts.
Position Overview
The Business Development Manager will own and grow a portfolio of high-value accounts, working closely with engineering, product, and procurement stakeholders to align solutions with client roadmaps.
This role requires strong experience in IT services or technology solutions, along with a deep understanding of high-tech environments such as semiconductors and networking.
Key Responsibilities
Account Growth & Expansion
• Own and grow strategic accounts within semiconductor and networking verticals
• Identify cross-sell, upsell, and expansion opportunities
• Drive revenue growth through long-term account development strategies
Client Relationship Management
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across:
– Engineering
– Product
– Procurement
– Executive leadership
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and align solutions to business needs
Strategic Planning & Execution
• Lead account planning and quarterly business reviews (QBRs)
• Develop long-term growth strategies aligned to client roadmaps
• Track pipeline, performance, and revenue growth across accounts
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with solution architects, delivery teams, and product leaders
• Shape tailored solutions based on customer technical environments
• Ensure seamless delivery and high client satisfaction
Market & Industry Insight
• Stay current on semiconductor and networking trends
• Understand client challenges and competitive landscape
• Proactively identify opportunities ahead of demand
Requirements
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred)
• 10–15+ years of account management or business development experience
• 7+ years of experience in high-tech, semiconductor, or networking industries
• Proven track record of growing revenue within large enterprise accounts
• Experience in IT services or technology solutions sales
• Strong client-facing, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Experience working with global delivery teams
