Description
We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to lead the growth of our online fault monitoring solutions integrated with SCADA systems. In this role, you will identify new business opportunities, build strategic relationships, and help organizations improve operational reliability through advanced monitoring technologies.
You will work closely with customers to understand their operational challenges and position our fault detection, diagnostics, and real-time monitoring solutions as the preferred choice. What You'll Be Doing
Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within industrial, utility, manufacturing, and infrastructure markets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective customers, strategic partners, and industry influencers.
Monitor emerging technologies and market trends to identify opportunities for innovation and business growth.
Understand customer operational challenges and recommend tailored monitoring solutions that deliver measurable business value.
Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive revenue growth and expand market share.
Stay informed on competitor offerings, market dynamics, and customer needs to refine sales strategies and positioning.
Track sales activities, maintain accurate forecasts, and report business development performance to senior leadership.
Partner with Product Management, Marketing, and Sales to develop sales enablement tools, including presentations, quick reference guides, questionnaires, and other customer-facing materials.
Collaborate with the sales team to identify and prioritize target accounts and customer opportunities.
Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and technical events to strengthen market presence and generate new business opportunities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of business development or technical sales experience within industrial technology, automation, IoT, or SCADA environments.
Strong understanding of fault monitoring technologies, sensor integration, industrial automation, and SCADA systems.
Demonstrated success developing new business, managing strategic accounts, and closing complex technical sales.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, compelling manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Strong analytical thinking and strategic planning capabilities.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively across technical, product, marketing, and commercial teams.
Willingness to travel as needed to meet customers and attend industry events.
