Overview This position requires a highly diplomatic business developer who excels at identifying, engaging, and converting high‑potential prospects in the Utilities, Investor & Private Equity, Power Generation OEM, and Independent Power Producers landscape. The ideal candidate will build deep relationships, narrow the ideal prospect profile, and convert prospects into value‑based customers and partners. They will lead the overarching relationship strategy, manage the pursuit team, and serve as the primary point of contact for critical customer relationships.Responsibilities Generate demand, identify target buying committees, and prioritize pursuits.Understand clients' strategic priorities and respond with agility, speed, efficiency, and effectiveness.Identify and manage the pipeline of opportunities across all sub‑segments covered by the customer.Coordinate the relationship between key customer personnel and senior executives.Drive solution sales across the portfolio, including Medium/Low Voltage distribution, Motor Control Centers, Energy Management software, Protection & Relays, and Lifecycle Services.Lead and align a virtual team of BU sellers, technical experts, project managers, and partners to deliver integrated, customer‑centric solutions.Work with Tendering Managers, Solution Architects, and Project Managers to deliver solutions that solve customer needs.Cultivate client, channel, and other external strategic relationships to drive large transformative deals and ecosystem‑led growth.Ensure a VIP customer experience throughout the sales, delivery, and service life cycle.Qualifications & Attributes 8–12 years of experience in strategic, relationship‑centric sales, preferably in energy, utilities, or renewables.Proven success in solution selling and managing complex, multi‑stakeholder accounts.Strong knowledge of electrical distribution, automation, energy management, and digital solutions.Experience selling to utilities, IPPs, or renewable energy developers.Advanced experience in Solution Selling, Outcome‑Based Selling, and Customer‑Centric Selling.Strong ability to understand and navigate complex requirements, clearly communicate client needs, challenge the client on solutions, and close strategic transactions.People‑management experience with a coaching and collaborative leadership style.Proven track record of acquiring new business.Compensation For U.S. residents: USD161,600–242,400 per year, including base pay and short‑term incentives.
