The Business Development Manager role in the Energy and Oil and Gas sector involves driving growth and fostering business opportunities for the organization"s overall energy solutions and services within the targeted industry. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Upstream technologies and applications in the Energy and Oil and Gas domain, as well as a strong ability to identify and engage with potential clients and key stakeholders. The primary focus will be on developing and executing strategies to expand the company"s Upstream business and establish strong business relationships, with energy companies and oil and gas corporations.

Key job responsibilities

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of the Energy and Oil and Gas industry to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for Upstream adoption.
  • Monitor and stay updated on competitor activities, pricing strategies, and industry developments.

Business Strategy Development:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development plan focused on the Energy and Oil and Gas sector.
  • Identify target clients, industry segments, and potential strategic partnerships to expand the company"s presence in the market.

Client Engagement and Relationship Building:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients in the energy and oil and gas sector.
  • Prospect and engage with new clients to understand their workflow needs and align the company"s offerings to meet those requirements.

Solution Presentation and Sales:

  • Collaborate with the technical team to create compelling presentations and proposals tailored to address the specific needs of energy and oil and gas clients.
  • Lead discussions and presentations with key decision-makers to showcase the value of the company"s Digital solutions and services.

Project Management:

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful implementation and delivery of Digital Upstream solutions for energy and oil and gas clients.
