designing components into customer products early in the development cycle.

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Engineer for a permanent role in the Manufacturing industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional with experience in territory management, CRM, adhesive, tape, and foam sales. This role offers an incredible chance to leverage your skills and experience to drive the growth of our business. As a Business Development Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving sales growth. With your hunter mentality, you will be the driving force in acquiring new clientele and expanding our market share.

Responsibilities:

1. Utilize your expertise in adhesive, tape, and foam sales to drive business growth and profitability.
2. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand our client base and increase revenue.
3. Leverage CRM tools to manage customer relationships, track sales activities, and forecast future sales.
4. Utilize your hunter mentality to aggressively seek out new business opportunities and turn prospects into long-term clients.
5. Conduct market research to understand industry trends and competitive landscape.
6. Provide technical support and advice to customers, ensuring their needs are met and fostering customer satisfaction and loyalty.
7. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met and to optimize sales opportunities.
8. Deliver presentations and demonstrations of our products to a range of stakeholders.
9. Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote our company's products.
10. Regularly review sales performance against targets and adjust strategies as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience in adhesive, tape, and foam sales.
4. Strong knowledge of CRM tools and territory management.
5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
6. Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude.
7. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
8. Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
9. Strong business sense and industry expertise.
10. Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and prospects.
11. Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals while maintaining established sales quotas.
12. Professional sales training would be a strong advantage.
