The estimated salary for this position is $75,000-95,000/Annually.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of business banking relationships.
  • Develop and expand the existing business portfolio of Ridgewood Savings Bank
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, community involvement, and prospecting activities.
  • Meet or exceed established goals for loan production, deposit growth, and fee income.
  • Represent the bank at community events, business organizations, and networking functions.

Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new and existing business clients.
  • Conduct regular client meetings to understand financial needs and recommend appropriate banking solutions.
  • Deepen client relationships by cross-selling products and services, including business checking, savings, treasury management, merchant services, and lending products.
  • Maintain strong client retention through proactive relationship management and exceptional service.

Credit and Lending

  • Work with Credit and Lending department to facilitate new client loan needs.

Portfolio Management

  • Manage and monitor an assigned portfolio of small business relationships.
  • Conduct annual site visitations and ongoing risk assessments.
  • Ensure portfolio performance meets bank standards for profitability and asset quality.

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Adhere to all banking regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable federal and state banking laws.
  • Ensure compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements.
  • Complete required compliance and risk management training.

Qualifications

Education

  • Associates degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred but not required.
  • Equivalent banking experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

Experience

  • 3 + years of experience in business banking, or relationship management.
  • Experience working with small business and commercial clients preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in business development and portfolio growth.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Excellent sales, networking, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
  • Knowledge of treasury management and deposit products.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
