Business & Community Engagement Manager

Are you goal-driven? Then the Business & Community Engagement Manager position is for you! We are seeking a dynamic and team-oriented individual to join our spirited team.

As the Business & Community Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for building business relationships with current and new clients while overseeing activities for the Business Service Team. You will be responsible for providing leadership with guidance to the Business Service Team, assisting with the training of all Business Services Representatives.

Successful Elements

  • Supervise, coach, and support the Business Services Team to ensure effective employer engagement, business development, and service delivery
  • Develop and implement standardized processes for job orders, recruitment activities, On-the-Job Trainings (OJTs), Paid Work Experience (PWE), and employer communication workflows
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, community organizations, chambers, and workforce partners to expand hiring opportunities and collaborative initiatives
  • Analyze labor market trends, employer hiring demands, and industry needs to support strategic outreach and workforce alignment efforts
  • Develop and execute marketing, outreach, and employer engagement strategies to increase business participation and service awareness
  • Track, monitor, and report team performance outcomes and business engagement metrics
  • Maintain current knowledge of workforce development trends, funding requirements, state and local regulations, and industry best practices

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • 5-7 years of previous management/supervisory experience preferred
  • Marketing and sales experience preferred
  • Customer service experience, strong presentation abilities, and good interpersonal skills required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Regional travel is required
  • Able to work fully onsite, fully virtual, or in a hybrid environment
  • Clean driving record, valid Driver’s License, and reliable vehicle required
