Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI) is seeking a Business Analyst to analyze user requirements and processes to provide technological solutions for business problems.

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days a week in the office.

What You’ll Do:

  • Participate in meetings with business users to understand business processes, operational challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Gather, document, and validate business requirements under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Create process documentation, business requirements documents, workflow diagrams, training materials, and other project documentation.
  • Assist with the configuration, testing, implementation, and support of business systems and technology solutions.
  • Perform and document unit, system, integration, and user acceptance testing activities.
  • Research system issues and assist in troubleshooting application and process-related problems.
  • Provide end-user support for business applications, including issue resolution, training, and system usage guidance.
  • Maintain ticket data, configuration records, and other administrative documentation as assigned.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Participate in project activities throughout the software development life cycle while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
  • Further the goals and positive, professional image of the IT Department by conducting business with other MEPPI departments, consultants, suppliers, etc., in a timely and cooperative manner.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field, with 0-2 years of experience supporting business systems, information technology, business analysis, or related functions, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Basic understanding of business processes and information systems.
  • Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Intermediate written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Ability to learn new business applications, technologies, and technical concepts.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple assignments.
  • Exposure to ERP systems, reporting tools, databases, Power Platform, or business process improvement methodologies is preferred but not required.
