Bachelors degree and 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree and 3 years of relevant experience.
In lieu of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
Ability to travel up to 25%, including extensive international travel.
Position Summary: Business Analyst (Supply Chain)
Inbound Transportation Management System (TMS) Manager role supporting logistics operations, process improvement, standardization, compliance, implementation, training, and ongoing support of TMS processes.
Partners with logistics leadership, suppliers, carriers, buyers, and TMS stakeholders to drive transportation management initiatives.
Supports process development, system optimization, documentation, and deployment of TMS solutions.
Responsibilities: Business Analyst (Supply Chain)
Ensure TMS shipping process compliance, standardization, and continuous improvement.
Monitor carrier and partner performance and provide feedback to transportation partners.
Maintain implementation, integration, training, and process documentation.
Recommend improvements to TMS processes and system optimizations.
Define, communicate, and manage project scope and deliverables.
Present project status to leadership, PMO teams, business units, and logistics stakeholders.
Train internal personnel and external suppliers on TMS functionality and provide post-launch support.
Develop inbound shipping processes, workflows, supplier communications, and standard work documentation.
Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Customer Service, and other stakeholders to design, test, and deploy TMS solutions.
Manage design, configuration, testing, implementation, maintenance, and updates of logistics workflows and integrations.
Communicate critical TMS changes and disruptions to stakeholders.
Partner with regional TMS counterparts to improve processes and share best practices.
Preferred Qualifications: Business Analyst (Supply Chain)
Background in domestic and international freight within North America.
Experience implementing logistics process improvement initiatives in complex environments across multiple transportation modes.
Experience with large-scale Transportation Management System (TMS) implementations, preferably in industrial or aerospace environments.
Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
Experience using shipping and transportation software systems.
ISM and/or APICS certifications are valued.
