Job Title: Business Analyst Project Lead – FCCMS

Location: Columbia, South Carolina (Hybrid – 2 Days Onsite per Week)
Duration: 12 Months

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst Project Lead to support the Maintenance and Operations phase of a Family Court Case Management System (FCCMS) project. This role will serve as a Functional Subject Matter Expert responsible for system testing, troubleshooting, business analysis, end-user training, and process documentation.

The ideal candidate will have strong testing experience, excellent communication skills, and prior experience working with FCCMS or judicial/case management systems.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis

  • Review and analyze vendor functional designs
  • Document current and future-state business processes
  • Develop General System Design (GSD) documents
  • Analyze business process and software enhancement requests
  • Support application configuration updates

Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Develop and execute:
    • Test cases
    • Test scripts
    • Test plans
    • Test scenarios
  • Perform:
    • Regression testing
    • Integration testing
    • Security testing
    • Performance testing
    • Acceptance testing
  • Record, analyze, and report testing results
  • Reproduce and troubleshoot defects with development teams
  • Conduct root cause analysis and participate in incident review meetings
  • Maintain traceability between requirements and test scripts
  • Prepare and manage test data for execution activities

Training & Support

  • Conduct onsite and virtual end-user training sessions
  • Create and maintain:
    • User guides
    • FAQs
    • Workarounds
    • Training documentation
    • Computer-based training materials/videos
  • Provide Level 2 application support and ticket resolution
  • Communicate application updates, announcements, and workarounds to users
  • Assist counties during application rollout and adoption

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in software/system testing for IT projects
  • 2+ years of experience with Family Court Case Management System (FCCMS)
  • Experience with:
    • Component testing
    • Integration testing
    • Security testing
    • Performance testing
    • Regression testing
    • Acceptance testing
  • Strong experience creating and executing test documentation
  • Experience using MS Office, SharePoint, and MS Visual Studio

Preferred Skills

  • Experience documenting business processes
  • Judicial or court system experience
  • State government project experience
  • Experience with case management systems
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
