An International company, located in Plano, TX, is seeking a Business Analyst for a remote 8+ month contract role. Job Responsibilities: o Act as a liaison between Accounting & Finance users and IT for BPC Planning and Consolidation issues, enhancements, and process improvements o Analyze and resolve BPC Planning and Consolidation issues across system, data, and business processes o Prioritize and manage issue resolution aligned with close, forecast, and reporting timelines o Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements o Maintain documentation for BPC Planning and Consolidation processes and reporting structures o Understand relationships between SAP S/4HANA, BPC Planning, and BPC Consolidation o Perform impact analysis of system, data, and process changes o Support budget, forecast, and financial close cycles Financial Consolidation & Reporting: o Support and enhance BPC Consolidation reporting including Audit, Management, and Ad Hoc reporting o Validate consolidated financial results for accuracy and completeness o Partner with Accounting to enhance reporting structures and hierarchies o Analyze consolidated results and support financial reviews Business Analysis & Requirements Management: o Gather and document business requirements for BPC enhancements o Translate requirements into functional specifications o Support system testing (SIT/UAT) and validation of financial data o Facilitate alignment between Accounting and IT stakeholders SAP Group Reporting Transition Support: o Support transition from BPC Consolidation to SAP Group Reporting o Document current-state processes, data models, and reporting structures o Participate in testing, validation, and reconciliation efforts o Provide BPC expertise for design and gap analysis discussions Financial Data Integrity & Controls: o Support reconciliation of data between BPC, SAP S/4HANA, and related systems o Maintain consistency of financial master data and hierarchies o Support internal controls and audit requirements * Requirements: BPC Experience: o Hands-on experience with BPC Planning and Consolidation (BPC 11.1 on BW/4HANA) o Experience with report development, input schedules, and application support o Strong understanding of BPC dimensions, hierarchies, and data models o Experience using data manager packages for data transformation and issue resolution o Experience loading and managing data including flat file integrations o Understanding of driver-based calculations and planning logic Additional Requirements: o Bachelor"s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field o Experience working as a Business Analyst with requirements documentation and process design o Strong understanding of financial consolidation concepts o Experience supporting financial close and reporting processes o Exposure to SAP S/4HANA or SAP Group Reporting preferred o Strong communication, collaboration, and multitasking skills Pricing
