The Analyst will support the Enterprise Information Management (EIM) system under the Performance Management & Analytics System (PMAS) using agile methodologies. Responsibilities focus on metadata analysis, data governance, business process improvement, AI-enabled data synthesis, and reporting support. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical expertise, deep data/metadata experience, and exceptional communication skills to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business insights.Responsibilities:Strategic Liaison & TranslationPartner with program areas, SMEs, and IT teams to connect EIM cataloging and lineage systems to source systems.Translate complex technical findings and data limitations into clear, non-technical language.Automate metadata collection and updates for high-value data assets.Business Analysis & RequirementsReview, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs.Document detailed functional and technical requirements for system enhancements.Develop solution options including cost/benefit analysis, ROI, and risk identification.Data Reporting & VisualizationExtract, integrate, and analyze metadata from multiple complex internal and external sources.Collaborate with stakeholders to build reports and visualizations supporting agency decision-making.Validate AI-generated outputs, including identifying inaccuracies or hallucinations.Ensure compliance with data governance, reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.Data Governance & Metadata ManagementSupport metadata acquisition, enrichment, and lineage tracking.Contribute to development and maintenance of enterprise data glossaries.Ensure data quality, consistency, and adherence to governance frameworks.Data Literacy & TrainingPromote data literacy across the organization.Develop and deliver training sessions for non-technical staff.Create documentation and tutorials for glossary tools and metadata usage.Collaboration & Problem SolvingWork with data engineering, analytics, and program teams to resolve data issues.Provide guidance on interpreting data trends and answering complex business questions.Stay current on emerging tools in AI and metadata management.AI Prompting & Data SynthesisDevelop and optimize AI prompts and query strategies for metadata retrieval.Guide users in crafting effective AI queries for accurate data outputs.Build and maintain a library of standardized prompts and templates. **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.** **Please note that all Position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client’s business needs and requirements.** Benefits: For information and details on employment benefits offered with this position, please visit here.
