Assignment Length: Approximately 12-Months, possibly longer.
DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst 3 to support operations within Power Delivery Services. This role focuses on data analysis, stakeholder coordination, inspection workflow support, and data management initiatives. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with multiple stakeholders, analyzing operational data, and supporting process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Stakeholder Engagement and Customer Contact
Serve as the primary liaison between contractors and customers.
Coordinate inspection scheduling and resolve access issues.
Manage customer notifications, permissions, and approvals.
Track and document customer access challenges and constraints.
Utilize Customer Contact Information (CCI) tools to proactively schedule inspections and reduce unnecessary field visits.
Maintain inspection constraint records and support access-management process improvements.
Constraint Tracking and Exception Processing
Create mapping files (.kmz) and perform spatial joins in Excel to identify access issues related to CROPS, government lands, and other constraints.
Create and manage work orders for resolved access issues and send them to vendors with detailed instructions.
Track constrained inspections to ensure compliance and support risk mitigation commitments.
Assist with development and monitoring of data management tools for improved reporting accuracy.
Identify follow-up actions required by stakeholders throughout the inspection workflow.
Data Analysis and Data Discrepancy Resolution
Validate that inspection data populates correctly in reporting dashboards such as SAS and Power BI.
Investigate and resolve data discrepancies across systems including SAP, InspectApp, and EZYViewer.
Collaborate with inspection teams and IT teams to resolve synchronization and data tracking issues.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Five to seven years of experience in business analysis or data analysis.
Demonstrated ability to perform moderately complex quantitative analysis and draw conclusions from data.
Data and Analytical Skills
Data management including data structure, controls design, querying, and report development
Project tracking from issue identification through resolution
Data visualization reporting and dashboard development
Stakeholder and Communication Skills
Ability to engage with subject matter experts across multiple departments
Ability to present issues and potential solutions and obtain stakeholder support
Software and Technical Skills
Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

ArcGIS for mapping layers and spatial joins
Additional Preferred Experience
Experience with SAP data transformation, data cleansing, and validation
