We are seeking a Business Analyst II to join our Worldwide Returns & ReCommerce team and drive data-driven decision making through technical solutions and analytics. The ideal candidate will excel at maintaining and developing data pipelines, building insightful dashboards, and translating complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions. You"ll leverage your expertise in Python, TypeScript, and AWS services to keep our data infrastructure current and secure, while partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights that improve returns processing operations. Your role will be crucial in maintaining data pipelines, managing SIM queues, building QuickSight dashboards, and ensuring our technical tools remain up-to-date and secure. Strong technical and analytical skills are essential, as you"ll identify opportunities for process optimization, troubleshoot data issues, and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency. Experience with AWS services (DynamoDB, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, API Gateway), proficiency in Python and TypeScript, and a deep understanding of SIM management and returns processing workflows are key requirements for success in this position.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Maintain and optimize data pipelines to ensure accurate and timely data flow across systems

  2. Manage Shepherd Issues (security vulnerabilities) and ensure compliance with security standards

  3. Build and maintain QuickSight dashboards that provide actionable insights to stakeholders

  4. Develop and deploy solutions using Python and TypeScript to automate business processes

  5. Leverage AWS services (DynamoDB, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, API Gateway) to build scalable data solutions

  6. Keep SIM queues up to date and manage SIM configurations across multiple sites

  7. Partner with Operations, Business, Tech, and IT teams to identify and implement data-driven process improvements

  8. Monitor and analyze data to identify optimization opportunities and trends

  9. Generate performance metrics reports and present recommendations to key stakeholders

  10. Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for data pipelines and analytical solutions
