Are you someone who loves diving into data, finding insights, and making things run more smoothly? We're looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our clients team at a wonderful bakery in Hayward, CA! This is a fantastic opportunity to help us improve our manufacturing processes, support our team with data insights, and be part of a collaborative environment.
What you'll do:
You'll be a key player in helping us understand our production numbers, prepare weekly reports, and support our month-end close. Your role will involve working with different data systems, analyzing trends, and sharing your findings with our plant leaders to help us do even better. You'll also help with budgeting, tracking variances, and suggesting ways to save costs and boost efficiency-all while working closely with a friendly team.
This is a 6 month project, full onsite, paying $32-35 per hour DOE
- Primary responsibilities of the role: 1) Weekly Reporting & Data Management (Critical Priority); 2) Month-End Close & Financial Accuracy (High Priority); 3) Operational Variance & Cost Analysis; 4) Business Partnering & Meetings; 5) Reporting & Process Ownership
- Top skills we are looking for: Experience preparing weekly operations reports (production, work order variance, labor, finished goods), analyzing production output, downtime drivers, labor utilization, processing month-end close and preparing slide decks, experience in budget vs actual review meetings
- Specific software skills required: Advanced Excel, ERP / manufacturing data systems, Labor systems (ideally Kronos)
- Skills, experience and/or education is required for this role:
- 3-5 years in plant finance
- Advanced Excel + experience with ERP systems and labor systems (Kronos or equivalent)
- Experience supporting multiple manufacturing sites
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Able to step in quickly with minimal ramp-up, self-starter
