Your Role
Akkodis is seeking a Business Analyst for a Contract job with a client in Hartford, CT. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in SAP Global Trade Services (GTS), including Compliance Management, Customs Management, Export Control, and Trade Compliance processes, along with expertise supporting SAP S/4HANA integrations.
Rate Range: $45/hour to $48/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Business Analyst job responsibilities include:
Configure and support SAP GTS modules, including Compliance Management, Customs Management, Export Control, Sanctioned Party List (SPL) Screening, and Preference Processing.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional designs, system configurations, and solution recommendations.
Support integrations between SAP GTS and SAP S/4HANA to enable compliant global trade and customs operations.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and functional teams to deliver end-to-end trade compliance solutions.
Execute and support functional testing, integration testing, UAT, and defect resolution activities.
Develop and maintain functional specifications, configuration documents, business process flows, and test scripts.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain, International Trade, Business, or related field.
Strong hands-on experience with SAP Global Trade Services (GTS).
Experience configuring and supporting:
Compliance Management
Customs Management
Export Control
Sanctioned Party List Screening
Preference Processing
Experience integrating SAP GTS with SAP S/4HANA environments.
Strong knowledge of global trade compliance, customs processes, and international trade regulations.
Experience with functional design, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting SAP transformation or migration programs.
Knowledge of trade compliance regulations and customs processes across multiple regions.
Experience with data migration and master data governance activities.
This position requires the use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Pay Details: $45.00 to $48.00 per hour
