REQUIRED SKILLS
• Knowledge of research design, data collection, manipulation, and analysis
• Proficiency in SAS, Excel, and Python
• Ability to analyze data using statistical and mathematical techniques
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Experience in cross-functional team environments
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Experience with federal or state health data systems (Medicaid, HRSA, HHS, Census)
• Proficiency in data visualization tools and statistical analysis software
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Master's Degree in Data Science, Public Health, Statistics, Health Informatics, or a related field.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conduct data analysis on program, grievance/appeals, service authorization, and contract monitoring datasets
• Perform trend analysis and outlier identification to ensure data quality
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures for data management
• Communicate findings and logic models to program staff and Bureau leadership
• Produce quarterly and annual reports within two weeks of plan submission
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders (vendors, federal/state agencies)
