Our Client, a Health Insurance company, is looking for a Business Analyst for their Detroit, MI/Hybrid location.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Perform technology, automation, and process improvement functions in support of Procurement’s digital transformation and technology initiatives, including Generative AI, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Microsoft Power Automate, UiPath development, workflow automation, application support, business and systems analysis, and process optimization. Serve as a hands-on technical resource and liaison between Procurement business stakeholders, IT partners, and cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, document requirements, design solutions, and implement scalable technology-enabled process improvements.
  • Analyze complex Procurement processes, translate business needs into technical requirements, and develop, configure, test, deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance automation solutions that improve operational efficiency, data accuracy, cycle time, compliance, and user experience. Support the development of bots, automated workflows, integrations, dashboards, documentation, and reusable automation components while adhering to established governance, security, testing, and software development life cycle practices.
 
Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Automate, UiPath Studio/Orchestrator, RPA solution design, workflow automation, exception handling, testing, and production support.
  • Ability to analyze complex Procurement processes, translate business needs into technical requirements, and design scalable automation-enabled process improvements.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional projects, managing stakeholder expectations, documenting requirements, and delivering automation solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Required Skills/Experience – The rest of the required skills/experience.  Include: 
  • Five (5) years of relevant technical, automation, business analysis, or process improvement experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, configure, test, deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance automation solutions that improve operational efficiency, data accuracy, cycle time, compliance, and user experience.
  • Experience developing bots, automated workflows, integrations, dashboards, documentation, and reusable automation components.
  • Ability to follow established governance, security, testing, documentation, and software development life cycle practices.
  • Preferred Skills/Experience – Optional but preferred skills/experience.  Include:
  • Experience applying Generative AI to business processes, including prompt design, intelligent document processing, summarization, content generation, data extraction, and integration with automation workflows.
  • In-depth understanding of business operations, preferably within Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related enterprise function.
  • Advanced knowledge of Generative AI-enabled automation, RPA development, Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate, UiPath, workflow orchestration, API or system integrations, and relevant programming or scripting languages.
  • Knowledge of process design, re-engineering, organization transformation, Six Sigma, CMMI, ITIL, and technical process improvement methodologies.
  • Education/Certifications – Include:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
