The Business Administrator provides administrative support to MSD leaders and their teams, including support across multiple managers' calendars, meeting coordination, rhythm of business (RoB) execution, resource and travel support, event logistics, onboarding, and space coordination. The role also takes on project-based work as stretch growth opportunities under the direction of senior partners. To be successful, the ideal candidate will perform these functions reliably and accurately under the direction of their manager(s) and the broader Business Operations team, while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality across sensitive topics. This role is based at the Redmond campus, with 3 days per week in the office and 2 days per week work from home. Help prepare meeting logistics (e.g., booking rooms, troubleshooting virtual settings, providing food). Learn to manage ambiguous situations, with direct guidance from senior colleagues. Cross-Functional Collaboration and Communication + You will learn to collaborate internally with lead admins while gaining knowledge from peers and managers. Begin to understand how to build a network. Learn to take directions and prioritize multiple requests from admins, teammates, and managers. Discipline Growth and Development + You will learn to understand their organization's culture and business admin charter. Participate in the Business Support community. Engage within the community and attend networking events, trainings, etc. Shadow others and learn from others. Event Coordination and Logistics + You will support team experience activities as needed. Assist team with execution of event logistics (e.g., set up, tear down, catering arrangements) under the direction of senior colleagues. Support team morale and building team dynamics. Project Ownership + You will provide onsite team support and carry out tasks under the direction of others. Learn to take accountability for their components of assigned project outcomes. Seek to ask questions and share ideas related to projects. Resource Management (Hardware/Supply Management, Purchase/Expense Management Financial Management) + You will proactively manage supply inventories (e.g., storeroom, hardware, office supplies, snacks) as needed. Begin learning discretionary budgeting and company finance policies. Rely on guidance from senior colleagues. Space Management and Planning This responsibility is dependent on location. + You will assist with team space moves and logistics as necessary. Team Management Support (Headcount Management, Recruitment, Onboarding/Offboarding) + You will provide onboarding support for new employees, vendors, and interns, under the direction of senior team members (e.g., ordering new hire equipment, setting up workstations, distribution lists, security groups). Travel Management + You will shadow and learn travel tools and policies. **Qualifications** **Required Qualifications:** + High School Diploma, General Educational Development (GED), or equivalent AND 6 months Administrative, Business Support, and/or customer service experience.? + OR equivalent experience? **Preferred Qualifications:** + 1+ year(s) Administrative, Business Support, or customer service experience in an environment with an emphasis on scheduling meetings/events, travel management, and basic administration work? + Associate's degree?in relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Human Resources [HR], Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Sociology)? + OR equivalent experience? \#MSD? \#MSDJOBS? Business Support ATR-B - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $23.03 - $37.26 per hour. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $29.71 - $43.08 per hour.
